Kobe participates in the Dutch Design Week!

We are thrilled to announce that Kobe will be participating in the Dutch Design Week in a collaboration with Modebelofte – The New Order of Fashion. Dutch fashion designers Anouk & Vera will be working with Kobe and our fabrics create their expression in fashion and this fusion of fashion with interior fabrics will be showcased in the V&D warehouse in the heart of Eindhoven during the DDW together with the complete Modebelofte presentation.

At Kobe, we take a lot of inspirations from fashion and the opportunity to do this collaboration where our fabrics will be used for a fashion development is very exciting! It is an honor for us to be part of the most important design event of the Netherlands and represent our own creative vision in Dutch Design.

During this event exceptional attention goes to work and development of young talent with emphasis on experiment, innovations and cross-overs.

About Modebelofte – the New order of Fashion:

Modebelofte, meaning ‘fashion promise’ is an international platform for fashion talent that seeks to further develop the industry by presenting fresh perspectives and stimulating interdisciplinary collaborations. Every year Modebelofte realizes a surprising exhibition with a selection of innovative new fashion talent duiring the DDW. This year’s theme is SHAPE SHIFTERS.

Here is what the Modebelofte team say about this concept:

The 2018 edition shows the forefront of young fashion designers who strive towards more autonomy, imagination, and experimentation in how we express the complexities of our self-identity. They answer to an essential need of humans to transform, they are shapeshifters!
